I really love this makeup. I used to have problems with cake and liquid foundations where the area around my nose would always get flaky and gross after applying the makeup even when I used moisturizer first! Bare Minerals does not flake like that on me.
I recommend buying the $65 (or whatever the cost is where you buy it) starter kit. It comes with 2 foundations and warmth and mineral veil plus a few brushes. In my opinion, you can probably do without the Mineral Veil and Warmth (unless you love them) and just keep purchasing your preferred foundation color when your kit runs out. Also, the concealer brush is wonderful for applying eye shadow.

I was apprehensive about trying it out at first because of the cost, but now I'm glad I did. It's the only foundation I'll ever use again!

you can get it at sephora (online or at their stores) and Nordstrom's and also Ulta Salons

I have very oily skin, and no makeup has ever stayed on me. Bare Minerals is the best makeup I have ever used, and I will never use anything but mineral makeup for the rest of my life. It is expensive, but it lasts a long time.

It is not. It contains a lot of impurities and filers. BE contains bismuth that causes skin to itch. I have tried all brands of minerals, such as Jane Iredale, BE, Philosophy, Sheer Cover, Loreal, Glo Mineral, Everyday Minerals, and a lot more. The only one that was pure and did a great job in soothing my skin was Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. You can get samples for free. You only pay $5 for shipping. The prices are 1/5 of BE's too.

It is a really good makeup! I have been using it for a year now and it is so much gentler on my skin and it looks great. You can buy it from Sephora or a Bare Essentials store if there is one in your area. My local mall has a Bare Essentials store, so I have bought from there once or twice, but the t.v. offers are more affordable. If you go to their website you can buy the t.v. offers online.

it is great makeup, you can buy it in stores, IF there is a boutique near your, go to their website. I have one near that I visit 2x a year, about an hour away. BUT I do alot of my shopping off qvc, sephora, and ebay.

I am even liking their waterproof mascara, it goes on beautifully, makes for soft realistic lashes
