Baby.baby.baby. Everybody's body is different and responds to the ingredients in birth control differently. You may have more estrogen than the next girl, or more progesterone. You never know. The best thing I would recommend is to keep in touch with your doctor. Honestly, it can take some women up to 5 years after taking birth control to conceive. Believe it - there is only ONE DAY per month that you can conceive. So you see, you and your mate have a lot of issues that may be working against you. It took me 5 years. But I was patient and waited. Your doctor might suggest a complete evaluation. (This is more in depth than a pap or pelvic) There are numerous tests involved. Your mate may have to undergo tests - he could not be producing a healthy number of sperm (1million is considered 'normal' production of sperm!) Your being anxious puts your body in stress-mode - don't stress. Pray and be at peace with yourself and others. That's what I did. You'll have your baby - at the right time, and in the right place. Best wishes to you - and don't give up.

Don't feel bad, I have never been on birth control and I have been trying for 2 years with no luck. I don;t think anything is wrong with you, because it happens to millions of women all the time. I think you should go back to the doc and gret checked out again, just to be safe, and then get your boyfreind or husband checked too. Just don't think that something is wrong with you, because you don't need that negative self esteem, that's not going to help.

My 1st suggestion would be to read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Wechsler. This book will really help you figure out what's going on!
