Flies land on all types of food especially hot dogs.

i am voting yes, just for the hell of it.

What is the purpose of flies anyway? They are the most pointless creatures...

then again i guess the larvae get rid of rotting carcasses and stuff .. and I guess they might have a similar role to bees in cross pollenation ..

..hey maybe they're not so useless after all!! But wasps? Wasps are totally pointless... they dont even make honey they just go round stinging people over and over again... i have been lucky to have never been stung in my whole life

but i digress (damn I gotta stay off the Red Bulls)

back to topic at hand ... flies... hot food.... probably.... yeah why not...

Depends what you mean by hot? If you're talking about something bubbling away on the hob then no. If it's on a plate and cooled down enough that you can put it in your mouth without burning yourself then a fly will quite happily join you in eating your food.

No they can't i've watched them in the kitchen trying to land on the chicken when its just come out of the oven they just sort of hover above it and then i send them to fly heaven

If thy did, they probably have flytal injuries and would haveto be takn to little fly hospitals for nursing.
