how long does it take for a sprained ancle to heal???

it depends a lot on what damage has been caused

ie. torn muscles , tendons , bleeding into the joint and surounding area (swelling )

, it can take an week or two, or as long a 6-8 weks
about the same time or a little longer, than a fracture to heal .

A Very Long time..Mine hasn't healed as of yet I'm still Limping on it since last Oct the Dr told me to wear support hose stocking but it doesn't help...Good Luck there are days I can't walk at all

depends on how bad it is. usually just a couple of weeks. jus take it easy. and wrap it tight to keep from injuring it again till it hills completely

it took me about two weeks to start to put pressure on it.
I sprained it playing basketball
It hurt like hell !
