I got my period on the 17th and yesterday I had some spotting, can this be caused by drinking? I dont think i drank too much it was just two cups for two days

No, not at all. There are tons of reasons, and sometimes no reason at all that your period could come early. Every woman's cycle varies, and it is not abdormal to start early or late.

I think it is possible because alcohol thins the blood so it could cause spotting

Nope it doesn't..If Your Stressed out that can cause it to come on early
