Married 29 years, together 31 (like a previous answer).
Still happy, mostly, we have our bad days occasionally.
Adjustments: Learning to compromise. We have learned to give in to the other when we see it is more important for our mate to "win". Basic respect is a must, and we have learned to really love to just talk and listen with one another. We have maintained our own individuality and don't control one another....that is the number one key to our individual happiness, thus we are happy together.

I have been married for 2 1/2 years and we've been together for 5 1/2. We are very happy. As strange as this will sound, this is how I feel...Marriage is the same as it was before we were married, only a million times better. A far as adjustment...it takes a few days or weeks but you fall into a routine fast. Just make sure to always trust and respect each other...and NO SECRETS ALLOWED!! Good Luck!

We've been married less than a year (they say the 1st year is the hardest) and we have plenty of ups and downs. We have a 6 month old and an 8 yr old that keep us busy, exhausted, and occupied so it's hard to find time for each other. . . but we do. Even if it's the 10 minutes in bed before we fall asleep, we talk to each other. It works and keeps you connected in the zoo of life. I keep our home very clean. I clean all the time ... & he doesn't. He still has the "Frat Boy" mentality and we've really struggled to adjust to each others habits. He trys harder & I try to be more understanding and patient. It's difficult, but I think we'll adjust.

This September, it will be 5 years dated for 11 before marriage. Yes we are still happy, but the sex part could use some excitement after having 2 kids. Changes after we were married was the fire turned into a small flame, no more excitement. You know you got them. But the love is much stronger!

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 20 1/2 years.
I am defiantely happy.
My biggest obsticle since being married was my meddeling in laws. It took hubby almost 20 years to realize that the vows we took clearly stated.. A man is to leave his parents and cleave unto his wife and the two are to become one flesh.
Once he realized that and stood his ground. Voila! The decided they didnt like that game and are staying out of our lives. Talk about peace and quiet now! :-)
Yep! Happily Married for 20 + years and have 5 children (all after marriage)

Yes we are happy but like everything else marriage has up and down
we have worked on our marriage to make it work and now we are going to have our first baby :)
"A good marriage is an intimate and loving relationship which gives both partners security, friendship, companionship, support, comfort, and deep love that penetrates every aspect of life. None of this can be achieved without work and sacrifice.
Marriage may be compared to a plant that requires daily nurture, daily attention, daily care and cultivation. It will not develop of its own accord; only as effort and will are exerted will it grow and mature. For a marriage to succeed, both husband and wife must be committed to its success. They must build an enduring love relationship that is centered in the heart of their consciousness. Their relationship must be nurtured with the water of loyalty and love."
