Your friend is not a lovely girl to me. The only person she talks about is herself. More than likely, she's not even realizing it so put her in her place and tell it like it is. I think that she is taking advantage of you and she is more of a taker than she is a giver. Friends are supposed to be there for each other and listen to each other's problems- not talk about themselves. If you decide to be her friend, make sure that she does NOT take advantage of you anymore. You don't deserve that at all. If you decide to not be her friend anymore, find new friends and don't be bothered by her.

No, she is not lovely. She is self-absorbed and those kind of people are always self-absorbed.

No, she is not a real friend - she is using you . Find someone where the interaction, caring and sharing is mutual.

some people get so self-absorbed they can't see anybody but themselves. they are totally oblivious to anyone else's problems. just say "hey, i love ya girl, but i need to talk and I need you to just listen. I'm having some issues, and i need a shoulder to cry on......" some people just need to be told and put in their place. she probabley doesn't realize shes this way. bring it to her attention.

You are a giver... she is a taker. The two of you just seem to have different personalities.
