Make sure she's either on some kind of birth control or use a condom, use a condom if its not a monagomous relationship regardless, you don't want to get a disease on your first time!

Well, if you feel you're ready (and are sure you're not just doing it because of pressure from someone else) then go ahead.

Be ready for it to be somewhat awkward (it always is at first), and if your hymen has not broken yet, somewhat bloody. Make sure you use some kind of std protection. And I think you should be okay. :)

Save it for your wife- makes a great honeymoon gift. She'll appreciate the consideration, and knowing you can't give her any STD's.

Go take a cold shower, then volunteer at the local hospital or old-folks' home.
