Try a different brand. I really like maybelline, the one with the two ends. You put a white layer on first, then the black coat, and it stops it sticking aswell. Borrow your friends to see which works best for you. Have fun!

If your mascara is old then buy a new one that says its clump free. Otherwise you can take an old mascara wand and clean it with warm water until you get all the old mascara off of it then after you apply your new mascara, use the old wand a to kind of brush through the eyelashes until it gets all the clump out. It should ony take a couple of strokes, no biggie.

It might have dried up in the tube a bit from going in and out with the wand. Also, before you use it give it a wipe so you can get some fresh mascara on it. Maxfactor is a good one its £9 from boots and its great! and doesnt smudge or clump up! hope this helps! x

Before applying your mascara, make sure your eyelashes are really clean first. Mascara will go on clumpy if you havn't properly removed old make up. Use a relly nice eye make up remover with cotten wool then splash your face and eyes with water. Next comb through your lashes with a lash brush to make sure that are already nice and separated then use a really good quality mascara. this doen't have to cost the earth. I like max factor masterpiece and some of the rimmel brands are really good. Good luck

if you've got an old mascara wash the brush and when it is totally clean you can go over the mascara with the brush! just keep swilling the brush once you've used it. it normally works by taking all the excess mascara off (all the clumps) GOOD LUCK!

Find a different brand...... one thats claims not to clump. Then use a eyelash brush, get a metel one cause the plastic ones suck and the mascara always get stuck to them. Always make sure to wash your brush after each use anyway.

Here's what i do:
1. use an eyelash curler to curl your eyelashes
2. put on your mascara (i use lash stylist by Maybelline New York)
3. use an eyelash curler to curl your eyelashes again with the mascara on
4. using an eyelash brush, brush through your eyelashes until they're clump free
Hope it helps!

You have to use fresh mascara. When its exposed to air it dries out. The brush is exposed every time you pull it out and forces in some air when you push it back in. I buy inexpensive mascara and just replace it every 4 or 5 months.
