Is the growth economy dead, if so what is next?

That's a baited question. By growth, if you mean the speculators, I don't think so. Speculators will continue, although those who are stung will not engage as deeply as they did before.

What's the next big thing? Probably a return to value, sort of a moderated "flight to quality."

It is not dead now. But it will be soon dead. Next, i feel is socialism. The system will degrade and the people will take over
