My friend told me they make Jerky from them and sell it in 7-11's. My theory is thay make them into those colored wrist bands teenagers love to wear.

They use them to make this type of artificial skin covering for burn victims. It helps the burn heal quicker. It's kind of like skin grafting but they can remove this stuff once they are done with it.
I think the rest of them are incinerated with the rest of medical waste. However I would be delighted if the did use them for those bracelets and all the unsuspecting trendy teens were wearing them ;)

Most of that is eaten by scavenger birds / animals around the hospital dump and some just rots and soils.
