Home remedies would help.
I tried creams, sprays, nothing works.
I drink 8 cups of water a day, I change my shoes, and my socks daily !
I even dry my feet well after I get them wet.
This happens every Summer, why?

I was in the DEAD Sea a few days ago, and most of the Athelete foot fungus was "cured" . .
Strange.

I had the exact same problem for 13 years - every spring I'd start to notice the same thing. Even with new shoes only, never using the same shoes as the year before. The spray in the yellow can is the only one that worked but it always came back the next year until I saw a dermatologist. He gave me some samples of Ertaczo, and said if I needed more to get Lamasil cream. Good luck!

Rub talcum power or something similar on your feet before putting socks on. Put a bit in your shoes too.

Washing with and applying salicylic acid helps it heal faster. Acne washes and face wipes without alcohol (Stridex comes to mind) could be used for that.

Use some bleach and hot water when you wash your socks to help prevent reinfection.

As John Madden says, "BOOM!! Tough acting Tinactin."

No really, if the over the counter stuff isn't working, ask a doctor for a prescription for the extra strength stuff.

I've heard (haven't tried it myself) that peeing on your feet cures athletes foot. Let them see the sun! Don't wear closed toed shoes.

Try peeing on your feet in the shower.

I know it sounds gross, but this will actually kill the athletes foot fungus.

Alternately, and probably equally gross to many people, is using cream for vaginal yeast infections. Works better than athletes foot remedies.

You could try soaking your feet in warm wet water mixed with epsom salts and also swimming in pools with a high concentration of chlorine seems to work. also, try putting regular baby powder in your shoes to help absorb moisture. Hope that helps

you're coming in contact with the fungus - use the fungicide, throw away your old socks or boil them, treat your shoes with fungicide, figure out where you may be coming in contact with it & treat your feet right afterwards...Aloe Vera creams (for that purpose) are most effective.....keep trying , you'll find one that works for you....
