I have been intrested in buying a 360 but I have heard bad things about it? I have owned the first Xbox and loved it even though the first one I bought quit on me after 90 days. The second one lasted til recently I sold it and is still working strong. Also from what I hear PS3 is having problems and they are pushing back the release on it. So What do I do Buy 360 or keep waiting on PS3?

I've had no problems at all. Once the "Red Ring of Doom" came after the power of my house had gone off and back on, but I turned it off and it was fine. The most common problem I've heard of is scatched discs, which in fact is the users problem most of the time. If you move the system from it's horizontal position to it's vertical positon or vice versa while it's running the disc gets scratched very badly, but what do you expect when it's moving so fast.

I have not had a single problem with my xbox 360. It has to be my best purchase ever because everything from the graphics to the dashboard is awesome. I have never experienced the "Red RIng of Doom", but i almost scratched a disk by moving the xbox 360 from standing up to lying down while playing. Definetly get the 360!

If you get a 360, pay attention to the little sticker over the CD drive that says not to move it while a game or disc is playing. I barely bumped mine the first night and it chewed up Ghost recon. I had to buy another copy because it was unplayable afterwards. Thats the only problem I've had so far, its a nice system, and this is coming from a diehard PS2 fan

that is observed as 'pink Ring' truly out of the 4 sections of the xbox circle on your controller each and absolutely everyone would turn pink. If the total circle turns pink then that is going to end operating thoroughly & you'll want to get it mounted. besides the undeniable fact that if that is merely on one or 2 of them then merely be careful. Its now and again to do with connection or how previous your xbox is. Its same to a plague.

The only problem I've had with it is it freezes every once in awhile when I play oblivion, or at least it used to. But I think that is also somewhat a software issue.
