last monday when wipeing after id been to the toilet i noticed a small amount of pink blood,nota large amount one wipe and it was gone,i went to the hospital and had a emergency scan before hand they told me i was about 5weeks and 4days,i had a vaginal ultrsound and the doctor said they could see a tiny sac but no featus and no heartbeat,he said it was probably to small to dectect but it could of been a miscarriage but that was slim as i would have bleed more,and to come back next week.i did a pregnancy test today and it still says im pregnant but im scared what does eveyone think,please help

First calm down. It is called spotting and some women have it through out their pregnancy. Listen to your doctor. Go back in a few weeks and have them check again, but I would say it is a good bet you and the baby are still fine. Most early miscarriages are like a heavy period. I know cause I had one at 8 weeks along.

A small iota of blood is not a miscarriage, but the doctor is right to wait and recheck on the empty sack.
Sometimes, a heart beat cannot be detected until the 7th week. The hormones measured by the HPT don't show that the zygote is developing, but that the placenta is developing.
I think yours is a terrible position to be in, but you really have to wait this out. I am sorry you're going through such stress.

If it was just a tiny bit of blood you should be okay. When I was only a few weeks pregnant I even had what I figured was like a last minute period. Like some spotting for a few days. It's only really bad if your spotting and whatnot when you're far along. Just go back next week and let the doctor check you out to be sure, but you sound alright to me. Don't worry too much, it's not good for the little one. ^_^

This just happened to me i have two kids a 19 month old and a 8month old i was preg again with my 3rd kid about 2 and a half month i started to bleed just a little so i went to the doctor and he sent me to the Er the did all the test and found out i lost the baby and they did a D-n-C on me ,,,you can I'm me on cutietraci87 or email me at cutietraci87@aol.com

you may be still pregnant..if you had a miscarriage it would nt be just a pink sploch but you would bleed dark blood it would stop only when your embryo would be out as a small round lump...i still think you are ok...you cant have heartbeat with just 5 weeks so the doctor is right....it is small to detect.....

You might need to get a blood test done to see if you are still pregnant. It can detect tthe hormones and see if your levels are where they need to be at this time in your pregnancy. But an ultrasound would be best. So I say go to your doc.

I think you are still pregnant. But the testing by the physician will confirm that the blood levels of the pregnancy hormone are rising appropriately, and that all is well. And good luck with it!

dont be scared. i believe that u are still pregnant. ur doctor was right the fetus and heartbeat were probably to detect.
