Help! My daughter spilled Red Pop on our white carpet, yesterday and covered it up with a blanket?

So it has been there for at least 24 hours any thing that you can think of to get it out? Thanks.

oxyclean is the ticket....happened to us. the trick i found out was to mix up the oxyclean in a large cup, and make it kinda thick like tooth paste. apply to area and cover that area with a hot wet rag and put some kinda weight on it, like a 9 x 13 cooking dish. let sit there about an hour and do it again.

Get some ammoa and mix it in a spray bottle. Mix it half and half with water. Get a white towel and your iron. Spray the spot and place the towel over it with your iron on cotton setting place it on the towel let it set for a few. the red pop should pull into the towel. You my have to repeat this step a few times. I did it to remove red Cool- aid and it worked great.

Windex with ammonia D. It removes stains quite well.
Spray on area and wipe with paper towel or white towel to absorb stain. Also works well on stubborn food stays under the
dining room table. Windex is something you always have on hand most of the time

try lemon juice, vinegar, salt and scrub repeat three times or so. scrubbing let dry and then the next day try too remove with mild dishwashing liquid, hard to get out once dry though.calll some carpet mills in the dalton georgia area.
