There will be two pins in your headset.Color codes from one set to another.Look into the pins you can find a figure.Connect speaker pin (Shown as two ear pieces) to the spaker port of your audio card.Connect the other own(Shown as a mic)to the mic port of your card on the CPU.The ports outlets have spk and mic written. Now enable the Microphone which will be muted by default. You can enable this by going to sound properties either by going to control panel or by double clicking speaker icon on your taskbar.

There are three sound ports on the back of your tower. 1 - Green , 1 - Pink and 1 - Black. Follow the color code when plugging in your headset. Green is for your output sound (headphones or speakers). The Pink is for the microphone.

Audio is handled by the soundcard. The computer might have a soundcard in a slot, or it might be built into the motherboard. You need to find inputs that match the headphone jack and mic jack. These are often color coded to match your headset's miniplug connectors. You may also notice that there are small icons (A microphone icon for the mic, a headset icon for the headset) that is imprinted on the small connnectors. The inputs may also have these icons to help you match them.

Pink plug is the microphone, green is the headphones. Plug them both into the back of the pc. They will be color coded both pink and light green as well.

Most of the outlets on the pc these days are color coded too, so look in the back for pink and green outlets. One should be a microphone symbol, the other a speaker.

You should download Skype....it's free software that makes your PC a telephone. You can call me and chat!

You should have the similarly color coded (pink and green) jacks on the back of the computer. Match the colors and plug - in should work.
