The flies come in when I get home from work or when I go in and out of the house.

There are two ways. One is to set a fan to blow outwards from the door opening. You could use a garden hose with lots of holes in it tacked to the door facing and get one of them kid's bouncers from walmart which has a high volume blower to inflate it. have a button so you can turn it on right before you open the door. It is hard to fly in the wind. This is used at most amusement parks to keep flies out of the stores and eating places.

Or you could tell her to be happy you are paying the bills so she can complain about everything you do. Then invite her to show you how to go in and out to mow the lawn and carry out the trash and the many other chores you have that should should already have done by the time you get home from work.

Mine complains about I don't cook for her on my days off or when I do cook she complains that I stink up the house by cooking. If I cook out side she complins because I took the hole bag of chicken outside when loading the gril. Then she complains because the flies come in with me and then complains because I track in dirt while cooking outside for her.

Give it up dude and just get rid of her. It will be better in the long run. lol

The fan blowing works amazingly well. I was stationed in San Diego. Our mess hall left the doors open all the time. Not one darned fly was ever in that dining hall. There was a fan rigged at the top of each door. The fan was wired to a switch which worked off the door. When the door opened, the fan came on and stayed on until the door closed. The fan blew straight down, on top of your head. I was amazed at how well this simple rig worked! The fan does make some noise. They were set on high. But the flies were everywhere on that base, except in the mess hall.

Either get some spray for outside that you could get at a farm store or go to Wal Mart and get those yellow traps that they should have with a bait thing inside. You fill it with water and hang it outside and they go to it rather than come to you as much and they don't get out. Takes a day or two to get it going good but you will be amazed at how many it will get. When it is full, you just close it up and toss it in the garbage. Nothing will keep all of them out but one or both of these will help a lot.
