Bucher remained angry that commanders had failed to come to his aid. "The U.S. at that time had enormous military forces in the western Pacific within five minutes flying time of us," Bucher told The Associated Press in 1988. "I would have thought something could be mustered to come to our aid. But everybody just forgot we were there."

I did not see any written by Cmdr. Lloyd Bucher, but there are numerous books about the Pueblo incident.

I don't know of a book---but there should be--the man was the scapegoat for an incedent that was not his fault and was publicly humiliated and stripped of military honors in a public kangaroo court-martial that he did not deserve !!!

As an ex-Navy dude myself--I would like to meet this guy some day if he is still alive
