Wal-mart. That place has put more americans out of business than any other cooperation in the world. They just move in to a place where they think they can take over and create a monopoly. Sure they do give some people jobs, but have you ever talked to the people that work for Wal-mart? They hate it, they screw over their employees and keep them just happy enough and give them only the necessary education to do their job (so they won't advance and leave the company)
Wal-mart is now working with the government to be central points of distribution in the event of martial law, they will become the new government one day, The anti-christ will arise from the work line of Wal-mart. Sam walton is dead but the entity of Wal-mart lives on to ruin small town business, to undercut all surviving ones, to cheapen the American industry, to provide poor quality items that will break and force us to buy more from them because they are the only place that has them. It sucks. Wal-fart

Nuclear weapons would be my first choice but since that's taken
I vote for de-inventing cell phones. There are too many ignorant
people out there who use them while driving the car or watching a film in a theater. Until the human race evolves enough so that there aren't quite so many idiots out there,we're not ready for cell phones yet.

This is an easy question but you have to follow closely....
I would never have allowed the "plow" to be invented... Without the plow we would still be small bands of "Hunter / Gathers" wondering about...
Our "civilized" world would never have come into being and the millions of poor souls that suffer and die each year would never have been born...

I'd like to say the nuclear bomb - but you have to wonder how horrible chemical and biological wars the weapon may have prevented. The US would have probably had a massive war with the USSR. So who knows how things would have turned out? Probably not very nice....
So my choice is chewing gum - vile substance chewed by cretins who can't seem to find bins to put it in when they've finished their "cow-chewing-the-cud" impression.

Playstation. Once it's switched on my other half doesn't notice time passing. He doesn't notice dirt. He doesn't notice the cat tearing up the carpet.
