Not all do, and by the gross generalization of your statement, why do you discriminate against "the white"?

Understanding the answer to this question, you need to understand the human mind. Not only whites to blacks like here in this country but how humans relate to each other, on a whole.
Throughout history humans have discriminated against other races due to many reasons. For the most part they discriminate against the races to make them feel superior and above a certain race. This discrimination of thought are pasted down from one generation to the next. Here in the USA small minded white people need to feel superior over the Blacks. Blacks need to be superior over the Browns, and so on and so on.
True the white black issue stems from the early American History. But there were Black slaves in other countries at the same time as we had slavery here. When the slavery issue was discontinued the slaves were free, in other countries, coexistance with whites and black have not had the terrible consquences as here in the USA.
The whites in the USA in general would not let lose of the "I am more superior than you are" thoughts". Due to the superiority complex of the white american, black were held down from being educated. Thus prepertuating the uneducated black and prepetuating the ignorance of the whites.
It still goes on today but thru the fight for equality, blacks are rising from their positions of thought and fighting back, (legally) the discrimination.
The question is will they in turn discriminate against others too?

Some whites learned to discriminate against the blacks from their parents, society and their peers. Other whites learned it does not make sense to discriminate against anyone because of skin color. It makes as much sense as discriminated against a person because they have oily skin, and I have dry skin.
The problem of discrimination goes back to when people moved out of the area. Or moved into someone elses area. It is economic.

not every white person does. You have to realize that. But it's the same as people discriminating against gays, whites, arabics, mexicans etc. people are sick and can't see that we're all people and their is no right or wrong type of person. You can't sterotype. The main reason for discrimination is some idiot thinks to himself "All_____ are ______" Like some people think all blacks do drugs and are gangbangers. And some people think that all Arabics are here in America to be suicide bombers. And some people think all whites dicriminate against all other races. It's an endless battle of predjudicism.

why do the blacks discriminate against the whites? Not all people of a race discriminate another race, right? Everyone is an individual and everyone has individual thoughts and opinions. I'm more curious in why you ask that question.

the same reason black discriminate against white and Chinese discriminate against black and white discriminate against Mexican. People are stupid. They think if your skin color is different that you're a fricken alien or something. Not all people are that way, thank God.

Well, I grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood. I had the opportunity to observe many, many (many many) black males acting like idiots. I thought long and hard about what I was seeing and what kind of views I would adopt as a result of that. When I looked around, I saw black males everywhere with their pants hanging off their asses, hats on sideways, gold chains, gold teeth, etc. I don't mind those aspects of black culture, a person has a right to act whatever way want to, that's their choice, and as long as they don't bother me, I don't care. However, when they start to rob and steal, break into cars, sell drugs, raise dogs for fighting, and collect welfare endlessly, and generally act like vagrant criminals, I begin to have a problem. When I take a look at the statistics, at what percentage of prison populations are blacks, when I see the endless genocide in Africa, when I have to listen to the retard blasting his idiotic rap so loud my grandmother and I can hear it with the windows up, I start to form an opinion. The majority of murders are committed by the black minority. To be politically correct is simply a matter of ignoring what you see. Responsible blacks have voiced these same opinions and concerns, and the black community, instead of realizing them as legitimate, respond with outrage, and those who had the guts to speak their mind are ostracized as traitors to the black community. What's wrong with this picture??? It's been 130 years since slavery was abolished. I can understand that it takes time for the negative impressions from slavery that are left on the collective memories of families to fade, but it is time to move on!!! I think that everything happens for a reason, and I am reminded of the saying "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger". I believe that applies to societies and cultures just as strongly as individuals, and the collective struggles of American culture are stepping stones to a stronger society. I am not racist, I just see what I see. When I am picking my friends, I look for intelligence and the potential for trust and loyalty. During my time in the Army, I met many very intelligent blacks, and many very ignorant whites. My favorite 1st Sergeant was black, he was probably the best leader I have ever seen. I'd follow him anywhere. Individually, race is a non-issue for me, I don't form any opinions until I lay eyes on a person. Collectively, however, is another issue, just look at the statistics, open your eyes, and realize that those who actually are prejudiced against blacks have a logical reason for being so.

I don't discriminate because of race. If someone acts like they deserve a handout, and I know whites that do, I have a problem with that. Anyone who bums all the time, does not hold down a job, tries to dominate you in your home and they do not live there, I have a problem with that type of behaviour.

I think it is natural to prefer your own kind, Just as Mexicans stick together, Blacks stick, together. Watch mixed groups and you will notice this. High Schools are a example or big events that draw crowds .
With quotas and hiring minorities and women I know reverse discrimination is going on.

you can say that question in reverse as well ... but either way it is a generalization, that infers that everyone feels that way.. and when you generalize.. you are basically doing the same thing that leads to all biases and prejudices... there are white people that discriminate, there are black people that discriminate... and there are both that do not discriminate...... but all discrimination is based on biases , generalizations, pre-conceived notions, and ignorance....
