If so how would you rate Zimmers work in this one?

I enjoyed the soundtrack. I haven't listened to it more than once...but I've only had it two days...so that's not saying much. I loved the first soundtrack...and in some ways this CD is very similar...he uses some of the same themes to represent the characters and whatnot. But overall, I think it's a good CD. Maybe not necessary for everyone's collections...but if you love Pirates...then you may enjoy. I don't think it is as good as the first one...but it's still good.
I listened to the Amazon thirty-second samples before I bought it, but I was unimpressed with what I heard. I took a chance and bought it anyway...and it sounds much better than what those samples may lead you to believe.
