keep in mind, International lotteries are illegal. There can not be a 'legitimate' one.
If you did not enter a lottery - that is, buy a ticket in the country where the lottery is held, then you did not win a lottery.

I've only heard of the National Lottery never the British Royal Lottery. I'm british too!!

I've never heard of it and I'm British. Sounds like an internet scam to me.
The main lottery in the UK is called 'Lotto', and you have to buy a ticket to win, they don't just randomly inform you by email.
