Since the volume of a cylinder is (pi)r^2*h

100 = (pi)r^2*h
h = 100 / ( (pi)r^2 )

Then, when radius is 2cm

h = 100 / (pi *2^2)
h = 100 / (4*pi)
h = 7.95
= 8

V = Pi r^2h

100 = (2)^2 * h * pi
100 = 4 * h * pi
35 = pi * h
h = (35/pi)
h = about 11cm

V = pi*r^2*h

or h = V/pi*r^2 = 100/pi*r^2

Substitute r= 2 and pi = 3.14159
