I really don't know or care. Bush has made such a mess of this country that it's really a thankless job to take over now. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody ran!

Jeb Bush (considered by many to be much more savvy and intelligent than George) is certainly a possible contender and John McCain will also be on the ballot along with a possible bid by Senator Frist from Tennessee. My personal favorite of all the possible republican candidates says she won't run and that's Condoleezza Rice who is very intelligent, qualified, great on diplomatic and foreign affairs. Whether or not the American people are ready to elect a woman or black American I don't know but I'm solidly for her if she decides to run and about the only Republican that I could support without reservation.
On the Democratic side look for Hillary Clinton (no surprise here unless she doesn't announce), and John Kerry will surely put his name in again. Look for John Edwards to be there and someone I really like Evan Bayh, Senator from Indiana and former Governor of the same state. Senator Obama is also mentioned as a Democratic hopeful but I think he's four years from running but never rule out that he might go ahead and test the waters. He has a truly charismatic personality very similar to Bill Clinton and John Kennedy and will most certainly be on the Ballot some day and possibly will be the first Black American President elected. Of the Democrats that I would come closer to backing would be Hillary and Evan Bayh. I am an independent and have supported both Republican and Democratic candidates. I also believe both parties put out a lot of hype on the other parties and that it is wise to make up each persons mind based upon the facts. I didn't vote for Bush and don't like many things about him but I don't think he messed up the country and one thing I do admire about him is he sticks with his values and doesn't waver with the polls. He, as president, also contrary to what the Democrats would have you believe, about being racist, has put more minorities in powerful positions than any other president, Democratic or Republican. There is a lot of hype about Bush but like everyone else he does have some good points and some bad.

I'm going to write myself in on the ballot as a protest vote for not providing any good choices for candidates. I've never voted before because I've never been satisfied with any of the choices, so I don't know if it's even possible. I don't know what the ballots look like. I'd assume that the machine would register it as a blank ballot and disregard it. If you don't like the choices either, then vote for me.
My campaign platform will be...It's about time to elect somebody that can admit that they don't have any idea on how to run the office. If I decide this country is going to war, I'm going to be fighting it right there on the battlefield along with all the other people who I've sent there. And I'm not going to spend more money than I make. All men are created equal and remain equal throughout their entire lives. So the biggest voice should be given to the largest group of people. Punnishment of criminals does not make this country a better place education of understanding does.
If I'm elected I'd probably be assassinated in my first day of office, but I'd still run. Maybe my death would finally snap people out of their trance.

The two front runners are:
Dem Hillary Rodham Clinton
Rep: Rudy Giuliani
But it'll prbablly change to
Dem: John Edwards
Rep: John McCain
If we have an honest election the Demo will win.

I hope its Hillary Clinton since everyone else is a worn-out retread who has proven they can't win (with the exception of Al Gore who really won, but let's not go there). And I don't give a crap who the Republicans run since I'm not voting for them - they'd just be a clone of Bush and 8 years of that loser is enough for any country. Actually 8 days of Bush is too much!

Democrats going for it will be Hillary Clinton and John Kerry...I think for the republicans it will be a toss up between Pataki, Jed Bush and possibly Guiliani. As for who will win...I think it will depend on who gets the endorsement from their party at the primaries but I think democrats have a really good chance.

Jeb Bush could comfortably carry on the family line to be followed by one G.W.'s daughters who could be elected handily using oil Money to become the first female pres. Of course this all hinges on whether G.W. declares the Constitution null and void and declares himself president-for-life.
