i live in MD, and this year these strange bugs started moving in. they look like bumble bee's only twice and long and shaped kinda like a wasp, with four sets of wings and a diamond on their back. what the heck are they??! i would appreciate anything you have to offer! :)

I've seen them before in Southern Louisiana. They are HUGE!!!! I was at a customer's house and they had made borrows under her trailer. She kept telling her son about them but he thought she was seeing the big bumble bees we have down here. I sprayed one with some spay and killed it for her so she could show her son she knew what a damn bumble bee looked like. That was 2 years ago and I have never seen another one since. I guess they are migrating North. You can keep 'em!

not locusts? cud b the leather jackets like that girl said. with the amount of chemicals applied 2 crops over there, it cud be anything, hehe. bound 2 b a crop feeder tho. ask a local farmer

sounds like hornets, and if it is, WATCH OUT! They are mean suckers.
