Realistically, you know as well as I do Superman, Batman and Robin, Captain America are made up heroes for our pleasures. The Super heroes you should ask about are our political leaders. As past history has proven over time, our super heroes were out doing whatever they were doing. They were unprepared for the event that transpired on that day because they did not then, and they do not think now, that the US could not be and can not be attacked again. I like your question, it is very humorous, however, what happened on 11th Sep 2001 is nothing to joke about. It was a serious event that will forever be a part of our history. To answer your question in a humorous way, they were all at school with President Bush telling the kids to "just say no to drugs".

If you'd like a good look at the 9/11 superhero conundrum, I'd suggest that you read "Ex-Machina," an ongoing comic by Brian K. Vaughn.

The Great Machine, protecting New York is only able to save one of the towers. He ends up being elected mayor and discovers that municipal politics is much more difficult than fighting crime with a jetpack and ray-gun.

As for Marvel and DC, Marvel released a special that focused on the FDNY, sidestepping the obvious problems inherent in such an event and coming out in great support of the real heroes. It was very nicely done.

I don't know what DC did.

i became in kindergarten, about 5 years old My primary became staring at Channel 7 New and then she made an statement letting the students comprehend what became occurring. We became on the television units and watched the dual Towers fall down. a number of the little ones began crying because they were scared. Then we went outdoors and recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the nationwide Anthem around the flagpole on the fornt of the college. It became this kind of daunting day :(

Its like in the movie The Incredibles. They are in the super hero protection program since a lot of people want to sue them for foiling their suicide attempts and stuff like that.
