At the begining, when they show the players singing the anthems, there are kids around 6-9 years standing in front of them wearing yellow & red jersies. Does anyone know who they are, or what they are there for? My bro and sis think they are the kids, but there is no way that every player on every team has kids, that also happen to look familiar each game.

It's basically like random kids that get a opportunity to go out on the field and basically be with the players for a little bit. I don't know if the kids are mentally ill or with some type of charity, but it is basically done by the soccer players as a good thing to do for some kids who want to meet some of the players.

I have no clue but i think they go becuase its a chance for the little kids to have fun! Maybe the kids are like a little soccer team or something cause i dont think every player has a kid but idk!

they r just random little kids, maybe they won a contest or something " walk out with a football player in the wolr dcup" they r just normal kids. maybe some have connections to the football players

I was told that they were just little kids that were there to welcome their heroes in soccer. They get a once in a lifetime experience of escorting the soccer players onto the field before the start of the game.
