try www.hotwire.com They are BY FAR the cheapest online site. I have used them twice, to go to Gatwick from Seattle in America. Just go to hotwire, and enter the needed info. Good luck, and happy travels! oh... By the way... I visited Scotland, and fell in love with it. it is a breathtaking country!

Your best bet is with easyjet (www.easyjet.com) if it's cheap fares you are after. You can also fly to Luton and Stanted from Edinburgh with easyjet, so if you are flexible as to which London airport you use, you can save ££££'s!

Because you are flying within the UK you should be able to use your passport. If you were going further afield you would need a new one. I THINK that EasyJet policy is that they require photographic idea for flights made within the UK.
