I bought a computer from someone and it has no sound- The guy who sold it to me said there was a sound card- it just needed to be plugged in, or something...What am I looking for here? And WHERE?!

thats gay that he didnt do it for you. most sound cards are located in the back of your computer in your PCI slot located in the back. If you have a sound card you should be able to see it and hook your speakers up to it. if this dont help of its a onboard soundcard ( which is junk) i would recomend getting a soundblaster pci card they run about 20 bucks and make alot of difference. feel free to contact me at overide_u_2003 if y ou need more assistance
