Depends on the girl. If I were you I'd wait before dating. Get yourself together first. But, if you insist then tell the girl the whole truth. Women love honesty more than men realize. I'd rather have a man tell me the truth rather than sugar coat it.

Most women prefer men that are self-sufficient. I would personally have an issue with a 27 year old guy living at home. I'm highly independant and while on an intellectual level I can understand the need for such an action, my basic instict level (which most women use to choose a mate) says that if he isn't an independant provider then I'm not interested. Also, while good looking guys are always a plus, I'd opt for a less good looking guy that knows how to take care of himself rather than a good looking guy that doesn't.

I am about to turn 26, and because my apartment building was purchased by a concrete company, I had to move into my parents place. People are a lot more understanding that you'd think. No one I've ever met has been discouraged by this fact. It's not like you live in a cardboard box. It wouldn't discourage me from dating someone, and if the topic comes up, be direct and honest. If you're embarrassed about it, the woman will sense that, and end up feeling sorry for you.....

First of all there is nothing wrong with trying to better your financial situation.Everyone needs al ittle help sometime. I would not be too judgemental if you were honest from the beginning. If the gilr is mature she would understand. It's only temporary until you get your own place. I would make sure to be motivated about moving out & not get too comfortable living at home.

HUM.....I would not like the fact that he lived with his mom and dad.Try to hurry and get your on place. A girl wants to know that a man can take care of her. However if you do start dating someone let her know up front that you do live at home but you will be finding your on place soon.

Don't tell them you still live with MOMMA...That is a sure kill for a date. Let them get to know you and who you are. Don't tell them that you are in debt. That is another sure kill for getting a date. Because unless this girl is just looking for sex...Then she won't give you the time of day. Lets face it. Girls your age are looking for a long term relationship with someone that they can depend on to take care of them.
Now get on track....Get out of debt...(work 2nd job if needed)
Get your own place. (fully furished)
Then date..
until then...find a married woman that just needs alittle loving. She will be cheaper...LOL (only kidding)

I would ask myself this, why is a guy like this living with his parents. But after you explained to me the whole situation then I would understand, I'm pretty sure I would still date you. But not all girls are the same.

Just tell her the truth, that you're trying to fix up your financial problems, and save up to look for your own place, and if she doesn't understand that, then something must be wrong with her.

If it matters in a negative way, then the girl is not for you. Keep looking for someone that likes you for YOU, and not where you live.
