Yes. Definitely. I would be able to find out who is a genuine friend and who isn't, faster.
It seems in this world we have so many friendships but few genuine ones.
Our 6th sense already allows us to pick certain things up and that in itself gives us hope already.

Definitely. I need all the help I can get when trying to understand people and being able to read minds would be a huge advantage.

I think it would all depend on if I could use it only at times when I really wanted to. Like say for example, if I were to ask my boss "do you think i am a good employee" yeah, I may want to know that. But, if I were to ask my boyfriend "Is she prettier than I am?" I probably wouldn't. Hence the saying, "what I don't know won't kill me..." most of the time.

when my boys were young I used to snoop in thier rooms.
After awhile I figured out when you snoop, you gotta be prepared for what youre gonna find.
I quit snooping and we were all alot happier. Not that there were ever things that as a parent, I should address in thier rooms. But notes, unfinished homework, MAD magazines and the sort.
God gave us our thoughts for US to have. He did not stick no kind of BOSE SPEAKER SYSTEM on the side of our heads.

somethings are best left unknown. If it were intended for us to know the thoughts of others, we would already know how to do this. Besides, to go another level deeper into this, what LEVEL of the mind would you read? feelings? conscious thoughts? UN-conscious thoughts? to quote a few famous empathic feelers: "your feelings betray you young padawan"
