Unbelievable! I don't care who is in office or whether he's republican, democrat, green, independent, libertariian, or from the Save the Whales party. There is no way anybody could have known exactly what, when, where, how, or by whom the 9/11 attacks would occur. There are a lot of conspiracy theorists out there who seek to destroy the very moral fiber of this country in the guise of "truth"....but it all boils down to innuendo and finely crafted story-telling.

Someone else stated it quite nicely: just because you know something *might* happen, doesn't mean you know it *will* happen. And come on...let's use our heads here. IF our government knew what, when, where, how, and by whom, do you honestly think they'd have let it happen? The World Trade Center, for goodness sake! It was one of our foremost symbols of American capitalism and freedom. And there's NO WAY anyone in this country would allow nearly 3400 lives to be destroyed and wasted for the cause of terroristic ideology. Even if our politicians are so callous that they would roll the dice with human lives, hoping nothing would actually happen, the risk is too great to their political careers. No politician is that stupid!

No I don't think America had a direct hand in 9/11, like the way Micheal Moore tried to encourage the American public in Fahrenheit 9/11. The Laden family @ middle eastern countries invest a tremendous amount of money in our banks, stock markets, etc. If they were to quit investing with the U.S. and pull their money out of our banks @ stock markets we could quiet possible go into another depression. this puts alot of strain on the president @ the CIA on when to take action on tarriest threats. Yes I think they knew that the 9/11 attacks were going to happen months before. Just not exactly how it all was going to go down . Yes I do believe they new exactly what was going to happen hours before the attacks happend. They were so afraid to take action months pi or because one wrong move could send the U.S. right back into another depression. After the attacks we had to take action I hope this helps.

Just because they had an idea that something was going to happen, that does not mean they knew WHAT was going to happen.

Obviously alot of thinking was done in order to pull it off and I certain if someone put that much effort into making it happen, then that someone was also smart enough to make sure the plan did not foiled by any leaking of information to the US government.

Bush had documents laid out in front of him that read "Al qaeda plans to attack US"

It is debatable if he even read the documents. He was probably still gloating about how he stole the election. If those documents aren't important, I don't know what is. Bush had an indirect hand in it.
