Do you have any doubt. India has seen smoothest transition of power from one exterme idea party to totally different kind of party and all because of democratic power. Do you know that India is home to the oldest democracy - Vaishali & Lumbini were democartic before civilzation came in other part of the world.
India's democratic power can be seen in the recent history also. After winning 1971 war, Indira Gandhi was a big force to reckon with however when she imposed emergency people showed her their democractic power and she was out in next election.
So India is a true democratic power, she may not be best but that works.

Yes it is democratic country.
In democracy every body is free to do anything.
Do good or bad, say good or bad. see good or bad,
and get good or bad.
People can get things by choise,and ability.
