Mary J. Blige, hands down, no contest. Beyonce is a good singer, but she sounds like all the other young singers in the game. I don't mean her voice, but her lyrical content, and style of music she performs. Mary J is original and no one sounds like her. She is by far the Queen of hip hop soul. Beyonce does not even come close to the originality and creativeness that Mary has. Mary has been in the game since 1991. Maybe in another 8 or 10 years I will be able to say that Beyonce has enough staying power to be considered a great singer. But for now, she is just another crab in the bucket.

I don't really like any of them.
But if I had to, I'd definetely pick Mary J Blige
Beyonce left Destiny's Child, and I feel bad for the other two members that were left behind. And plus, her songs are kind of... *barfs*
Personality wise and singing wise, I'd pick Mary J Blige

mary sings better. shes been here for the longest since the old school and her style fits the both time periods. like some singer dont even sing anymore since the new school moved in. beyonce got talent so dont hate. they both do.
