i know that it isn't any kind of skin condition because it happened after I shaved and they are mostly healed but they are leaving little marks that look like bruises and some days the look like they are going away and other days they look like they did when the pimple things healed...so i think it has to do with shaving but hope to get rid of it as soon as possible.

It's possible that you have ingrown hairs. You can treat them by gently exfoliating the skin using a loofah sponge, then applying Cortaid cream which will further thin the skin to allow the hair to grow out of the bump of skin-buildup.You can also switch your shaving cream to Aveeno with Colloidal Oatmeal Gel.
It's also possible that you have a rash which can be treated with the Cortaid cream;switching to the Aveeno Colloidal oatmeal shave gel is also a must.

Let's start by assuming there's no dermatitis or medical skin conditions? If not - make sure you are getting enough B vitamins; give yourself a thorough exfoilating session a couple of times a week; try dry brushing your legs (with a special little brush, and always upwards towards you heart); if you wax, doing the above will minimise 'chicken skin' and prevent ingrowing hairs; and moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!

I bet it's from shaving. Try exfoliating your legs with a glycolic acid product, like aqua glycolic. Or use Eucerin lotion. It should reduce the bumps. Make sure to moisturize and stay out of the sun.
