I would rather be an actor. Does it matter, anyway? You are going to be in the business where the "younger" generation is going to try to push you a side, courtesy of agents, promotions, media and what else.
but, if you are a good to great actress, you can get to work with a lot of famous people. Or, you can be cast by a great director or Hollywood producer. You get to travel the world, shoot on location, meet different people and cultures. Get to act in different periods. you can easily bag 3-4 movies a year, if you wanted to. You can act on t.v., act on stage, act in the movies, or, do all in your life time.
So, I would rather be an actress.

An actor who can also sing, but doesn't make a career out of it. 50 years ago, singing was almost a requirement for actors, now all they have to do is look pretty. Whatever happened to the age of Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, etc....

Both, I am a singer now and I have started to find out that I can act, but as long is for the glory of God will do it.
