if you want to be noticed than big earrings if you want a elegant look long earrings if you want an everyday look studs also if you wear a cocktail dress you should wear it either with studs or long earrings.

small studs are good for everyday occasions. i like star-shaped diamonds & pearls. little fancy hoops are good too. but big hoops & fancy earrings are better for "going-out" & when you dress it up a little bit.
