you see paris hilton,lindsay lohan,hilary duff and nicole richie having albums coming out and there are others too. heck Jesse McCartney was an actor too.
why do they think they can sing also just because they can act?
why can't they just let some newbie into the buisness rather than some actor/actress record.

They don't need to be able to sing, they only need to be able to sell CDs or downloads. Their fame as celebrities allows them to get publicity and sell product, even if their product is mediocre.

they do let newbies in. but because actors are already famous the media makes a big deal about their music.

well because.. if they can act they can suposevly sing. if they are hott in the hollywood boards then they r likely to get even more famous with there singing career. its just putting more and more on the fame charts.

Because since they are celebrities, they have connections, so they get whatever they want. If they do not have connections, they have their money. Even if they do suck, admirers (which is suprising) will ACTUALLY go and buy the cd.

IT'S VERY SIMPLE .... SEASONED ARTISTS, SINGERS, & MUSICIANS WOULD DEMAND MORE MONEY IN THOSE CRUMMY CONTRACTS THAT THE RECORD LABELS USE IN NEGOTIATIONS. THAT'S WHY SO MANY ARTISTS STARTED THEIR OWN LABELS . THESE " FLY-BY-NIGHT" TV IDOLS ARE 'here today----gone tomorrow'. EVERYBODY HAS 15 MINUTES OF FAME IN THEM

because this industry has become so trashy that if you are a actor you are most likely gonna become a singer.
