im going to cook some food on the grill shish kabobs sound really good to me then if it doesnt rain i am going to put my daughter to bed and go out in my yard and lay in the chaise or maybe in her pool and watch all of my neighbors put off fireworks they all typically do a better show than the local parks do and there is no driving involved so i can drink a couple beers if i want

This morning I went to my grandmother's house for breakfast and afterwards we went to my grandfather's grave to put a flag on there for him. He was a very patriotic man and fought in WW2. We only thought it was appropriate to put a flag instead of flowers on his grave today.
Tonight I'm going to a Fourth of July party and helping to co-hostess it. We might have fireworks but they won't be the good kind I saw last night at our town's fireworks show. These will be the kind of fireworks that men like to light themselves a little too close just to show how brave they are, and then they lose their eyebrows for a year.... :o)
I don't think our town has parades on the Fourth. We only have them around Christmas-time. :o(

i'm watching "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson
it's become an Independence Day tradition now for the past 5 years. that and a bbq with fireworks included.

well where i live it' been raining off and on all day so if it isn't raining tonight we are going to shoot off my lil girl's fireworks for her. It's her first 4th of july so i think she will be amazed. That's about it

right now it is pouring rain in massachusetts and thundering and lightening so i dont think im going anywhere...:-(
