I am remodeling this building. I just painted it purple and green. I want to name the building "The Capri Deluxe" and have the sculptural sign made in a cool retro font on the outside of the building (the font I like is like the opening title to Bewitched sitcom.) Then, I want to get a big atomic starburst, possibly with a light, put up. This is a very common look for this style of building here in So. Cal., but I can't find anybody who makes signs/architechtural details like this online or in the yellow pages. What is that starburst accent called? Where do I get one?

Southern California is full of small custom sign shops. Most of the really neat trends in signs start in your state. Best bet is to contact several of the smaller local sign shops in your area and run your ideas by them. You will be amazed at the artistic talent and craftsmanship many of these sign people have. They always like something different than straightforward lettering, and I am sure you will quickly find one with whom you can work at a budget you can afford.

Since you are a Yahoo user, why not try the Yahoo Yellow Pages:

Good luck with your search.
