Okay, forget the fact that she's a woman - because I'm a feminist and want a female President as much as any one else. Also, forget she's a liberal democrat because I am too and believe we need a liberal to run office to keep the balance. The question is, based on her morals, leadership, and what she's done and hasn't done with New York state, would Hillary Rodham Clinton be a good (not satisfactory) President?

All right, I've read all your respsonses so far. And when I said I wanted a female President, I meant I'm tired of being America, the land of oppritunity - and yet all we've had are rich white men ruling office. What happened to the oppritunity part? I mean, we don't even allow homosexuals to marry. Since when is the government allowed to decide where love should factor into the equation? Didn't our forefathers come here to escape persecution and to give us all a choice?
However, now that you think I'm some mega feminist, I do not, repeat, DO NOT want Hillary for America.

Hillary Clinton and George Bush represent everything our founding fathers fought against 230 years ago: political dynasties.

Thank you for giving us another readable example of stupidity. Because you are a feminist, you want a woman, any woman that can be elected, to become President, even if she is not the most qualified? Nice reasoning. I thought you libs were the smart ones? NOT!!!
See, I want the best qualified PERSON to be elected President. Unfortunately, the past two elections we didn't have very good choices, now did we. If a Margaret Thatcher came along in the US (Hilladyke is no Thatcher), I would vote for her in a heartbeat. Would that make me a feminist you moron? I don't think so. What it does make me is an independent conservative that would vote for a qualified individual, not because the candidate has a ****.
And what exactly is a feminist these days anyways? In my company, the CIO is a woman, my director is a woman, my co-manager with me is a woman, the other director is a woman, the managers under her are women? Oh, I forgot, the only reason to be a feminist these days is for the militant defense of the murder of 4.5 million babies and to stand silent when Bill Clinton rapes women. Yeaaaaaahhhh feminists!!!!

You have to be kidding me, if there was ever going to be a woman president Ann Coulter should run,
Hillary would do the exact thing her husband did in office, absolutly nothing, Clinton got too much credit for policies he didnt even enact when he was in office. Hillary is a pro-choice (also known as pro-babykilling) liberal extremist. She should be barred from civic participation altogether.
As you can tell i am a conservative and am not a fan of the Clintons, but actually i think it would be a good thign if Hillary ran because it would be such an easy victory for a conservative candidate. Most women I have spoken with are against Hillary because her reputation is already tainted, and most women wouldnt vote for her even if she could be the first woman candidate. So Hillary already lost the woman's vote she was hoping to receive and would in the end fail because moderate liberals and swing voters would choose a moderate conservative like Giuliani over an extremist like Hillary. A republican would win by a land slide and things such as abortion and gay marraige can be banned as soon as the liberal judges on the Supreme Court are removed and replaced by more conservative judges. i'm sorry there is nothing in the constitution that states a right to have an abortion, the court merely overused its power and derived it's vague interpretation from a clause regarding privacy in Roe. The opinion cast in Roe is somethign to laugh at and is an example of how liberals openly defy democracy and instead of letting issues be solved with a direct vote they turn to the high court to change the constitution, 9 justices have the ability to make almost any law they want regardless of what the American people think.

She'd make an excellent president. She has done much for New York State as Senator. She has been especially focused on reviving the upstate economy--which has been in shambles for decades. Also, she & Senator Schumer were extremely effective post 9/11 in advocating for New York following this country's greatest terrorist attack. If New York had less experienced Federal representation, I shudder to think what would have happened--given the lacksidaisical response of the current administration to disaster.

Don't expect real answers. All you'll get is comparison and typical Liberal-bashers. Obviously, she'd make a better president than Bush, or Condoleeza for that matter. However, due to the fact that she IS a woman and that she IS a Liberal, she has two strikes against her. They only want "god-fearing" Conservative men in office. Sorry.

No. And here is what gets me most about her: She blows like a leaf on the wind; trying to find the cause to establish herself. I can't get with that because she has unlimited access to Bill, arguably the most politically savvy, charismatic leader of the latter twentieth century. She really needs to learn from him. Only then will she be able to mount a serious attempt.

Hillary would make an excellent president. At least as good as her husband, maybe better as she will have a much bigger Bush mess to clean up than Bill had.

You're asking people to forget a lot about her. But, still, I think she has the capacity to be a very good President, same as Bill did. Let's hope she doesn't blow it like he did if she gets in!

Yes she will be a good president, and hopefully be influenced by her husband during her presidency. The Clintons make good leaders.
