I've got a 'want it now' post on e-bay. As soon as someone responds me, I reply 'em back through the link 'Answer now' on the page. I also select the 'send a copy to my e-mail address' option before sending the message. The copy of my message does get delivered to my e-mail. But then I get no more replies from the one I sent my message to.
Please tell me, is there a way by which I can find out if my message is getting delivered? If so, how?
If it's not getting delivered, what can I do about it?

Has this happened more than a few times? Is it possible that the other person(people) have just dropped their interest in the deal?
My experience is, if you get a copy of the email, they got a copy too.
Get a friend to participate in a test of the system with you and see what results the two of you get together.

In My eBay, check the My Messages link, then the Sent box. If you see your message in there, it;'s been sent, but you can also resend it.
Next time, write down the ID of the person who responds before you respond, so you can also directly message them.

I do not know the answer to your problem. However, you can use the eBay Live Help option. Just go to the eBay home page. Click on the Live Help option. It's there, just look for it. Good luck!
