Past - Maradona, greatest player of all time, even greater than Pele, coz Pele had a much better team :Brazil. Maradona took Argentina all the way, by himself.
Present - Zidane (even tho he's a past player as well!...lol) He's a real "gentleman" on the pitch, hardly any cards. And the skill with which he plays is amazing...also his determanation. When France played Croatia @ a previous WC, one Croat fouled Zidane so badly, the guy cut the side of Zidane's head with his studs. But Zidane came on later with his head bandaged & scored a goal
