there is no writable CD-R, i think u r using incremental writing option prvided by Nero. it will not overwrite the file from ur CD if the file names are different.

Even if you had an RW disc, you would have had to burn it to allow updates - an option in Nero and other burner programs.

There is no writable CD-R. You cannot overwrite, delete, burn the content of a CD-R. Only CD-RW/DVD-RW.

You do not. It is not possible. CD- REcordable cannot overwrite any data it already has.

you cant rewrite on a cd-r only cd rws can be re burned. or dvdrws
