Does it seem fake to you? How come every time they have a paternity test the women always go running off the stage like that?
How come the audience always boos the men, not knowing whether they are the father or not? I was just wondering, what are your opinions?

Me and my hubby have this thing where we act those scenes out, I play Maury, and he plays the girl, when i announce the results, he runs in and out of the house, into the bedroom and back into the living room with me and falls on the floor saying "NO, no no, it cant be . lol.. I get a kick out of that everytime, that show is so rehearsed.

yes I watch it.. some times , no I don't think its fake... I think the women feel really embarrassed when its exposed that the guy or guys were not the fathers of their babies , especially after sitting there swearing that they are 100 percent sure he is... after all that it makes them look like liars and sluts... no idea why the audience would boo the guys , I think its stupid since they have no idea if he really is the father or not... they are obviously too trusting of what the woman is saying.... not realizing or understanding a high percentage of the women on that show were not quite as honest and faithful as they say they were... as for the women themselves it appears that they are not a good representative of an average woman, but are instead mostly women that do not have the best moral standards/ or high values..

Not when yu look at how people are so screwed up!!what about a woman trying 9 times and still doesnt know who the father is??sad reflection on the moral decency and decay of values? what has happened to men who stand by their children and woman??? like a bunch of rats in an alley ? just breed for the fun of it??who suffers?? watch the show where they are looking for their "daddy"!men in America need to stand up and be responsible for their actions!how hard is it to use a condom or are they just lame and lazy?maybe just dumb?"fun" lasts for 5 min? kids cost yu for 18 yrs!!

I think most of those shows are complete set-ups. Both my mother and my aunt (they do some amateur acting in local theaters) appeared on a Spanish-language show like Maury and they were playing parts; neither of them was actually on as themselves. It was rather funny for my mom as a few acquaintances that saw her on the show were very surprised when they heard the story she was telling, not realizing she was just acting.

I think that it is fake. I was told that the guest read q cards so they know when to run off the stage

Its clearly staged for maximum effect. Funny how they just happen to have cameras where they run! They always run why? probably part of the set up.

I think it staged. Why would a woman go on there and be so sure who the father is, when she knows that she does know.?

Yeah, sometimes they put people in fake situations for a good show.

I really don't care if it's fake, I just enjoy watching the show.

yeh i think it is fake because they tend to do the same thing, such as screaming, falling on the floor, and running away crying to the backstage area.
