open control panel then add / remve programs click then the last choice on the right window which is assigne the default programs , on the right window click Microsoft windows then click ok . Enternet explorer will be your default browser . If you do not like it you can download Fire fox browser on mozilla .com then when you install it open it and the browser will ask you if you want to make it your defualt one .

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Options -> "Programs" Tab -> Select Internet Explorer to be default.

Remove netscape.

when you open an internet window with IE or firefox it ask you if you want that program to be your defaul browser. it does in mine. so try that and see what happends.
