You are just going to have to be there for him even though he isn't in the US. Be faithful to him. Continue your life like you would if he was there. Send him e-mails everyday when he is allowed to receive them. Make sure he knows your praying for him. send him a package now and then. Find other wives like yourself to talk to on line or in person. Find friends to hang out with. Work on something that will surprise him when he comes home. You could work on new recipes to cook for him, decorate a room or two, etc. Please remember just because he is in Iraq doesn't mean he doesn't think of you everyday or want to be home with you everyday. I hope this helps.

You could work on yourself more, not saying that you're not already a great person. Maybe start working out or something, that could be a great stress reliever and it can really boost your spirits and give you a more positive outlook and think of the pleasure you'll have when he returns and you can show him what a hot wife he has at home. Good luck.

I am sure there are other families in the same situation that you are in, get involved with them. Also now would be a good time to go back to school or get a job or even do volunteer work. Your husband is doing what he thinks he should for our country, don't make him feel bad or sad, support him and let him know that you will be fine until he gets back home to you. And also, spend time with his family.
