O.K I was using the internet when suddenly it stopped. I tried repairing the connection but it failed on retrieving ip address. I checked the settings and it failed to find the router's ip address.

In this situation, things usually have to be reset in a certain order. I would power down everything and disconnect the internet source (phone line or cable), the modem, the router and power down the computer.

Then re-connect the internet to the modem and start it up. Wait two minutes. Connect the router and power it up. Wait one minute. Start up the computer and the wireless adapter.

this is a few issues i might do. a million. make advantageous that your on the spot settings are excellent and that your community adapter is on. 2. Do an entire reboot on the router and disable the community adapter then re-enable it. 3. attempt connecting to a distinctive on the spot community to be certain in case you get the same difficulty. 4. pass into device supervisor and delete your community adapter. Then reboot and it would deploy the drivers to the default settings.

Just try rebooting your system as well as you wireless router.

First shutdown your system and then the router.

Then bring up your wireless router, wait for 5 mins or so and let it connect to the internet.
Then boot up your system, hopefully it would resolve the problem.

Hey!

If the network card is not integreated, pull it out, and push it back in.
You may want to restart your computer, also...

Cheers!
