I´m going to spend a couple of months in britain...don´t know what to expect...

Slovakians are lovely - but I cant eat a whole one.

We don't think about them at all. No offence intended, but British people tend to go to Prague if they go to anywhere in the former Czechoslovakia. Which probably means that you won't face a lot of prejudice, as they will be ignorant of Slovakia but will know it is a Christian, European, Slavic country and wasn't in Yugoslavia.

Expect us to be rude! LOL a recent survey showed that the Brits are just as rude as the French.
I do not think that this is true, but, being a Brit I am bias I s'pose. I think the French are OK too lol.
To be honest, personally when I see people I do not think anything of them even if they are foreign. I like the multi-cultural community I live in, it can only enrich ones life! We can learn about other cultures and ways of life (I find it fascinating).
Hope you enjoy your visit to the uk, we are not that bad!

I work with a few of them. Don't know their circumstances for being here but they are nice easy going hard working people. Just don't ask them if they are supporting the Czech Republic in the World Cup

There are no specific preset opinions regarding slovaks.
However, eastern europeans on the whole might be viewed with disdain by some people.
I shouldn't worry though.
