no, cause A is a dominant gene so you could have had the recessive gene (O) and she got your spouse's or be AB and passed down the A to her. You could even be B and be carrying the recessive gene, O, and gave it to her, while your spouse contributed the A. Basically, you could be anything, if your spouse has A blood

Go and ask for a blood type test at the laboratory.

As the other answers said, A, AB or O can have A type children, depending on the other parent.

no, your child's blood type is a combo of the mother and father. for example, i am AB and hubby is A so my child can only be A or B. check out the calculator below.
